Hello!
My name is Tryten Hager and I am currently a student at Western Technical College as part of the Digital Marketing program. I chose digital marketing in particular because I feel that it is a very interesting and expansive industry that is experiencing rapid growth. I hope to use my personal experiences and fascination with technology and social media to make an impact in this space.
I’ve lived in La Crosse (or Onalaska) my entire life and I love the area. The nature, culture, and people are one-of-a-kind. Some of my interests include hiking, weightlifting, music and, of course, video games. I currently live with my cat Peanut, pictured above. Some of my favorite movies are The Lost Boys, Nightcrawler, Knives Out, John Wick, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
A very large part of my personal brand and who I am as a person is that I’m very interested in learning why people act in certain ways, professionally and personally. I strive to get to the base of a situation and understand why it happens. I’m a very empathetic person so it makes sense that I want to figure out why people feel and act the way they do. This is very helpful when it comes to marketing because a large part of marketing is learning more about an audience and trying to predict what they want and what they’ll do.
